how stay creative?

more self medication?
No, but the answer can lie a front of us.. We have to keep our eyes and ears open, and stay creative? How?  Well, music and photography. Almost everybody lives music, listen to it! Music can be so powerful, like a drug, able to change your mood instantly. It can work as an inspiration. Im into vinyl records nowadays, because Im such a visual type, and like to hold and smell/feel the covers. Open the sleeves like a ritual. Love looking at the artwork. See what Im getting at? Art. Also if you have a cellphone, chances are that you can take pictures or videos. Take one today. Take one of something you like, or find interesting, maybe just a bird or a bug. It's nature. It can remind us, how complex system we live in and how difficult we can make our life for ourself, but the answers are often very simple, It's mostly a yes or a no.

depressing downtime

Guess what? Not everything is fantastic nor great, as a matter of fact, it gets shitty (pretty often), that's just how life works and problems are coming and going so are good times, but they don't hurt our business, especially your homemade etsy-business, so what do you do? You go back to your cave like a caveman and re-collect, re-group, open your eyes, get some new inspiration, listen to the voices in your head, they will tell you the way out. It's very important not to stay with the problem and exhaust your mind on it. Let it go. Do research, it's just like in sport: going back to training, or taking an extra class in shool (perhaps literally). My newly found extra time I did some pre-production for some upcoming photo shoots and realized again, that I live in this gigantic, beautiful and dark metropolis! Its great to fall in love with NYC all over again.
Now it's time to make some decisions and go back to work!
The only way you can survive in this jungle is hard work only with a dedicated Never-Say-Die attitude!

Some exciting things got lined up, all I can say right now is stores, markets, perhaps a movie that my shirts were borrowed for.. and a new photo-shoot, but it might turn into 2 hehe. Im also thinking about starting a video-blog..Stay tuned!

Im starting a new segment here about tattoos, as a still hardly accepted for as art.

This tattoo artist a little more, a little better than most and probably in the top 100 for sure. Using the sweet "Dot work", Optical tricks and ton of dark color and dark theme imagery. That's what's tattooing is all about for me. Fresh, innovative, progressive, yet dangerous. He is also in a band, and designs t-shirts, hoodies and does fine art as well.
